Site Update August 2024
View, Gregory Hills is making great progress, with significant advancements in both Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the project.
Road construction for Stage 1 is now complete. The newly constructed roads will provide access to the lots and connectivity within the development. Work on footpaths, street signs, and road line marking is on track and scheduled for completion next week. This will ensure safety and convenience for pedestrians and drivers alike. Additionally, street landscaping is set to begin next week. This will include the planting of trees and plants, which will beautify the streetscape and provide a pleasant environment for residents. All Stage 1 lots have been topsoiled and trimmed to finished levels, preparing them for future construction.
In Stage 2, retaining wall construction is progressing well, with over 75% of the work completed. These structures are essential for managing elevation changes and ensuring the stability of the terrain. The installation of inground stormwater and wastewater services is well underway. These critical infrastructure elements will ensure efficient drainage and waste management for the development. The installation of kerbs and gutters for road construction is scheduled to start mid-August. This work will prepare the roads for final surfacing.
Upcoming Work: Continued progress on retaining walls and inground services in Stage 2 is expected. The initiation of kerb and gutter construction is scheduled for mid-August. The completion of footpaths, street signs, road line marking, and street landscaping in Stage 1 is also anticipated next week.
